Digital Photo Magazine

My daughter wanted a digital photo magazine subscription for Christmas. After reviewing different magazines, I picked PC Photo (now Digital Photo Magazine). She recieved her first copy this month and said she liked it. She said it was more about photo equipment and didn't have a lot of photography advice articles in it. She would have prefered a few more of those.

PC Photo renamed this mag, "Digital Photo", I guess to better reflect the contents of the mag. It's been around for quite a while under the old name and I have subscribed off and on through out the years. It provides all the required info on cameras and lenses and accessories. I enjoy reading it from cover to cover and appreciate the test info and break down of the gear.

A great gift idea

I purchased this subscription for my son as one of his Christmas gifts. He really enjoys reading it from cover to cover and said, "There are some great articles and information in that magazine."

The only complaint I would have is that this subscription took what seemed like forever (about four months from order date) to arrive in his mailbox. Good thing I gave him a note on the expected arrival date!

Unexceptable Wait.

I have no opinion because this magazine, which was ordered and paid for in early-DECEMBER 2008, will not reach my door until APRIL 2009. I was not informed my subscription would take MONTHS, not weeks, to be filled; information which should have been stated at the time of purchase. I will never order another magazine from Amazon.

It looks great but I just got my first copy.

I like the look,and it looks to be jambed with articles, but I have not had time to sit down and read it yet, maybe I can look at it Sunday or monday.
